Let us create your vision

The type of service you choose is only limited by your imagination. While some people prefer a more traditional or religious service others are looking for different ways to say goodbye. Whatever your preference we will work with you to deliver a service that reflects the personality and beliefs of the person who has passed.

Traditional

The funeral ceremony is held in a Church or Chapel and is followed by a cremation or burial at a cemetery of your choice.

Traditional services often include a viewing before the ceremony; this can be arranged immediately before the ceremony or in the days leading up to it.

The service is conducted by the Clergy of the Church or by a Funeral Celebrant.

Alternative

We know that a funeral service is important in the grieving process; however the “traditional” funeral might not be suitable for your family.

We offer alternative venues (golf clubs, parks, national parks, whatever you can imagine); any format for the funeral; we can create a “ritual” with you. We have a wide variety of coffins and flowers and can source anything else that you would like,

Memorial Service

A memorial service is when we have funeral but your loved one is not present. Typically a cremation or burial has taken place before the memorial service.

We can create beautiful ceremonies, in any location, at any time to honour your loved one.

We can help you personalise the memorial through the choice of venue; music; celebrant or MC; flowers and theme.

Graveside Burial Services

This is a burial service held at the graveside in a cemetery of your choice.

The service is conducted in its entirety at the Graveside. A variation to this is to have the Burial prior to the Funeral Service or Memorial Service.

This suits those who wish for a Private Committal.

Grace Funerals will provide chairs, sound system for audio and PA system for the clergy; a canopy to provide shade and protection from rain.

Cremation

A ceremony is usually held in a church or chapel and then Grace Funerals will continue to the Crematorium for a private cremation. The Ashes are collected and returned to the family at a later time.

Living Wake

So, you have been given the news that we all dread. Have you thought about having one final party that you can attend and say goodbye to your friends and family?

We can help you throw one great party, we can source venues and act as your event planner. If you would like, we can organise speeches and a more formalised farewell similar to a funeral but with more fun.

Ashes Scatterings

Once the funeral is over and some time has passed you might want to organise another ceremony with a more intimate group to scatter the ashes of your loved one.

We can assist you with scatterings at sea or in the special location of your choice. We can make it a more formal service with a celebrant and speakers or we can arrange everything and leave you to it.

Body Donation

You or your loved one wants to donate their body to science. We know that a funeral will help with your grieving process.

We can assist with a memorial service to say goodbye to your loved one.

Anniversary Services

We don’t just have a funeral service and forget. On the first anniversary or a birthday we can help plan a day or an event to remember.

From golf days, to charity fun runs, attending a concert or a memorial service and party.
